BIOGRAPHY
Sharing a birthday with Bruce Lee and Jimi Hendrix didn't add
pressure to the skinny Spanish kid, it only inspired ambition.
Raised on baseball fields in Tampa, FL, Kenny Alfonso spent most
of his youth following a funny Dad and older brother around, learning
to hit curveballs, and secretly wishing he was a Kung Fu-Rock
Star. A baseball scholarship found him at Austin Peay State University where he received his Bachelor's Degree. Kenny then spent
2 years as a State Attorney's Investigator and 3 years as a Pharmaceutical Sales Rep
before entering the entertainment
industry in '94.
An accomplished performer and character actor, Kenny recently completed a stint on the Fox hit Prison Break and Tyler Perry's House of Payne. He is on television every week as the Co-host of Barkitecture, a 'How To' show on the D.I.Y. Network and HGTV and has also appeared in over 70 national and regional commercials from McDonalds to GMC Trucks. On film Kenny can be seen in Just My Luck starring Lindsay Lohan and as former Golf Champion 'Eben Byers' in Bobby Jones-Stroke of Genius starring Jim Caveizel. Kenny has starred in award-winning indie films and has performed on stage from coast to coast with his one-man shows and as co-creator of The Goods Variety Show with comedy partner Phillip DeVona.
As a Producer, Kenny has produced short films, TV pilots, commercials, live multi-media shows and corporate video. In 2005, Kenny signed on as an Executive Producer with Between Films Entertainment, LLC. (BFE) to produce feature films and a series of contemporary documentaries.
